HISTORY

The Nubian Circle Book Club (NCBC) was inaugurated in June 2001 with four members and has prospered via word of mouth to include members from all over Central Florida.  The love and respect for the written word was the catalyst for forming NCBC. 

VISION

To Explore The Works Of African American Authors With African Americans In A Relaxed Coed Setting

GOAL

Each Member Reads For Various Reasons But The Ultimate Goal Of The Book Club Is To Have Fun While Discussing The Selected Titles

MEETINGS

We Meet Twice a Month on 2nd Saturdays
 
The Main Selection is reviewed on 2nd Saturday Afternoons ~ 4-6 PM
* Various Locations ~ Orlando, Florida
 
The Nightstand selections are usually a bit more risque, controversial, or "out of the box" and their discussions are less formal taking place in various restaurants -  in a more relaxed atmosphere over dinner and drinks.
